Endress+Hauser Global Forum 2023 in Basel: sustainable transformation of the process industries

More than 850 customers from around the world gathered across two levels of Messe Basel for the first Endress+Hauser Global Forum. It provided a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities of sustainable transformation in the process industries.

In the large plenary hall, leading keynote speakers from different disciplines addressed decarbonisation, the energy transition, the circular economy, and resource and energy efficiency. A central feature was the stage with its 23.5 × 4.5 m LED wall, used both to support presentations and to display camera images from the stage.

Held for the first time this year, the Global Forum emphasised the process industries’ role in driving positive change, with sustainability and environmental thinking at its centre.

On level 1, a dedicated networking space provided a meeting point. At the Endress+Hauser information stand, a 3D corner LED installation and animated film promoted environmental awareness, supported by NEO, the event’s key visual.

12 themed Quickspaces, inflatable meeting rooms, hosted workshops discussing a sustainable future. Touch displays and whiteboard software provided tools for developing ideas and solutions.

The rotunda on the Endress+Hauser stand, named Garden of Eden, created a comfortable, natural atmosphere. Air, water and earth were represented by three LED cuboids equipped with walkable LED floors and displays that served as work areas. A central LED column represented the fourth element, fire.

Endress+Hauser’s network partners also presented solutions for a sustainable future at their stands in the hall.

For the Global Forum, we supplied all AV technology, LED walls, displays, playback systems, computers and network infrastructure. Before the event, we handled technical trade coordination and planning. We were also responsible for show management in the main plenary hall, ensuring smooth delivery.
