Description

VW Autostadt – 120° panoramic cinema

Autostadt’s panoramic cinema is built on a large scale: 15 million LEDs, a vertical resolution of 8K and a surface curved through 120°. Together, these make the 21.4 m wide and 4.2 m high wall a technological achievement. Its enclosing form draws viewers into the film, while a 2.4 mm pixel pitch provides vivid images for a memorable cinema experience.

The installation uses special modules developed by ICT and a matching support structure. The client, Neumann & Müller, handles media playback.
