Who we are looking for
We are looking for an AV technician / service technician (all genders) to join our team in Cologne as soon as possible, in a permanent, full-time role.
What to expect
- Plan and carry out test setups
- Support project managers with planning and site supervision
- Prepare materials, tools and accessories
- Assemble, install and commission systems, including alterations and extensions
- Carry out functional tests and internal pre-acceptance checks
- Train customers and introduce them to their systems
- Create and maintain technical system documentation
- Diagnose and resolve faults, and restore systems to operation
- Carry out maintenance
- Install software, firmware and content updates
What you bring
- A completed apprenticeship as an IT systems electronics technician or a comparable qualification, such as an event technology specialist, an electronics technician for devices and systems, or an audio technician
- Practical experience with audio/video equipment and media formats, or knowledge of PC and network technology
- A category B driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Germany
- Good spoken and written German, at least at B1 level
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- An independent, structured approach to work
- Initiative and a willingness to learn
- A collaborative approach to working in a team
