80th Swiss Media Ball & Zurich Press Ball
More than 500 guests from the worlds of business, politics and the media celebrated a glittering ball evening on 31st October 2009 at the posh Zurich hotel „The Dolder Grand“. The Zurich press association staged the 80th Swiss Media Ball with the Principality of Liechtenstein as this year’s host country. As well as the large dance floor, the guests were able to enjoy numerous top-class shows. The Berlin branch of ict Innovative Communication Technologies AG (Kohlberg) supplied discreet media support for the charity ball and the associated public image of the Principality of Liechtenstein as commissioned by the Foundation Image Liechtenstein (Triesen).
The ict team installed an almost 20 m² curved inspire LED wall as a core element on the stage for visualizing graphic and animated feed. Thanks to the white housing of the LED modules and their semi-transparency, the inspire LED blended in perfectly with the stage setting and did not distract from it, even in the off-mode. A concave 9 module Seamless FlatScreen video wall was installed in the ballroom to visualize a Liechtenstein image movie. LED pillars, LED striplites and LED uplights provided the appropriate lighting effects for the event.
